The extraordinary thing about zionism is that it seeks to survive as a movement only of the elites. The zionists imagine that control of the White Elites is sufficient in itself to promote their cause indefinitely. This is a mistake: it is possible to replace elites, and even within the reproduction of elite discourse—that is, the ideology of the powerful—it can already be seen that zionism commands ever less Power.
Several observations follow from the above. One is that there is an Irrationality at play that terrifies people; it is clear that people like Keith Starmer would rather lose power than cease to promote zionist Terrorism. He is destroying his Reputation amongst everyone except the tiny number of people for whom zionism is the sole important issue. Is it sufficient to keep those people happy and no one else? Or, to phrase it otherwise, what would happen to him if he failed to keep them happy? One looks for a rational explanation: that he is being blackmailed, for example—though this is a man unashamed to receive the favours of oligarchs, so it is difficult to conceive of his feeling Shame—or that his safety is at stake. But your correspondent does not truly think that a baroque explanation is required: the truth is that zionism is irrational; it is so closely identified with the great and inhumane White Causes: imperialism, genocide, colonisation, capitalism, that one could say that it is not only a permitted, but rather a compulsory, Delusion.
Another observation, to repeat a point Macdara has already explored: antisemitism is the ultimate taboo in elite European discourse (very much including Settler Colonist discourse as well). To call someone an antisemite is to render them abject, un-understandable; it is to close down all discussion. One can see this taken to an extreme in the current attempt by the English Establishment parties to undermine the Green Party—apparently a bastion of antisemitism that has unaccountably elected a Jewish leader. In fact the characteristic mode of the antisemite—seeing Jewish control everywhere—is mimicked by the zionist mindset, for which even an entirely Jewish organisation opposed to genocide must be a vehicle for antisemitism.
Now Macdara is a believer in the fact of antisemitism; he knows how little ordinary people care about this elite obsession, because ordinary people are quite casually antisemitic. In fact the insistence of the elite on this issue is a sure way of prompting a backlash, as every other type of person in the world comes to wonder why antisemitism, alone amongst all types of racism or discrimination, is the single Sin that must not be committed. This is consistent with what we might expect: that the elites are perfectly happy, while currently using antisemitism as a weapon, to risk endangering Jewish people in future. But if those currently in the employ of the zionists actually cared about Jewish people—or even zionism—then they would be warning their paymasters in the strongest terms that they are losing all Public Goodwill. The fact that they have not done so only proves how weak zionism is: it works only as long as the money keeps flowing, and people believe that the zionists control everything, for, as Emily Dische-Becker has shown in connection with the West German elites, it is the antisemitic trope of the zionist world order that has had elites falling in line.
Just as the nazi regime, facing inevitable defeat, chose to continue to throw resources at the extermination of Jewish and other Europeans, so the zionists are showing themselves to be incapable of adaptation, irrationally stuck on a course that can only lead to their destruction. In this, as in so many things, the zionists demonstrate that nazism has survived in them, colonising Palestine geographically, but disastrously attempting to colonise Jewishness itself.
